It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Nickerson (Owingsville, Kentucky), who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Thomas Markland and Lenora Faye Reynolds Markland; her children, Donald Ray Watkins Jr. and Nancy Carol Sumpter; her great grandchild Alahna McKinney; and her sisters, Louise Nickerson, Peggy Ring and Bonny Powell.

She is survived by : her daughter Tina Wiggins of Bethel; and her sisters, Linda Mitchell of Ohio and Brenda Hill of Bethel. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
