He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Helton Fields; his son Reed Fields; his stepdaughter Tina Lucas (Donnie); his sisters, Shella Sherman of Georgetown and Cheryl Hall (Mike) of Portland; his siblings-in-law, Gary Purvis (Elanor) of Owingsville, Eddie Purvis (Cindy) of Owingsville, Kenny Purvis (Mary) of Salt Lick, Catherine Fields of Centerville, Laura Maze of Owingsville and Lisa Hiler of Owingsville; and his stepgrandchildren, Jordan Abrams (Kacy) of Morehead and Morgan Blevins (Todd) of Richmond. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
