He is survived by: his wife Teresa Hardin Purvis; his son Michael Anthony Purvis of Carlisle, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Dylan Purvis, Jayden Purvis and Megan Kinder (Logan); his great grandchild Dutton Kinder; and his sisters, Pansy Peel (Carl Lee) of Lexington, Kentucky, Rosie Brasington (Robert) of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Darlene Holder (Billy) of Sharpsburg and Lisa Baker of Owingsville.
