She was predeceased by: her husband W. C. Clapp; her son Shane C. Clapp; her grandchild Christian Nelson; her siblings, Nannie Lee Reeder, Mary Lewter, R. T. Smith, Dewey Smith, Henry Smith, Chris Smith and Austin Smith; and her parents, Joe Smith and Eva Austin Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Nelson of Symsonia and Candy Powers (Tony) of Heath, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Erin Powell (Brent), Darcy Powers and Darren Powers; and her great grandchildren, Evie Powell, Dalton Powell and Dax Powell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
