She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Taylor and Beulah Smith Taylor; her husband Billie Joe Thorn; her children, Richard S. Lockett and Dixie Bennett; her siblings, James Taylor, Donald Taylor, Truman Taylor, Jerry Taylor, Floella Davenport, Dorothy Ort, Marie Gamble, Lucille Taylor, Imogene Thorn, Louise Heflin and Peggy Taylor; and her stepchildren, Kenneth Thorn, Willie Joe Thorn and Tanzie Blasingham.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Ledington of Paducah. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; and her twelve great-grandchildren.
