She was predeceased by: her son Jerry Legate Dickey; her brothers, Bobby McDonald, Bert Louis McDonald, Ronnie Lane McDonald and Donnie Wayne McDonald; and her parents, Burton Adelbert McDonald and Mary Ruby Martin McDonald.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Carroll Rials; her children, Charlotte Renea Vancil (Joe) of Tiline, Kentucky, James Timothy Schmidt (Gayla) of Paducah and Mark Lewis Schmidt (Jackie) of Paducah; her stepchildren, Carolyn Anne Stowell (Matt) of Blandville, Kentucky and Bobby C. Rials Jr. of Blandville, Kentucky; and her siblings, Mary Sue Craven of Paducah, Brenda Kay Jimison of Paducah and James Michael McDonald of Paducah. She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
