He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray E. Rushing and Betty J. Rushing; and his siblings, Glenda Rushing, Cathy Bounds, Vicky Rushing, Ray Rushing, Jr. and Michael Rushing.
He is survived by: his wife Patti Rushing (Ford) of Paducah; his sons, Eric Jason "Jrod" Rushing (Christel) of Kevil and Brandon Scott "Boo" Rushing (Allison) of Paducah; his siblings, Wayne Rushing (Donna) of Paducah, Karen Crosby (Dean) of Gatlinburg, TN and Diane Rushing of Huntsville, AL; and his grandchildren, Carly Ann Rushing, Bre Rushing, Ty Gish, Ryan Hall and Alexis Gish. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Home (2975 Old Husbands Rd, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
