He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dowell and Eva Elizabeth Hampton Williams; his wife Brenda Jean Sullivan Dowell; his sons, Robert Lee Dowell Jr. and Brian Dowell; and his siblings, Betty Joyce, Billy Dowell, Donnie Dowell and Mike Dowell.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Bobby Dowell Ill (Kathleen) of Paducah and Madison Snow (Tony) of Paducah; his great grandchild Willow Lee Himan; and his daughters-in-law, Lisa Dowell of Paducah and Tricia Dowell of Metropolis, Illinois.. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
