He was predeceased by: his son Robert Evan Hobgood; his parents, William "Bill" Hobgood and Colleen Hobgood; and his siblings, William "Snooks" Hobgood and Pat McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Bishop Hobgood; his daughter Tracey Mader (Don) of Weatherford, Texas; his daughter-in-law Melanie Hobgood of Ventura, CA; his grandchildren, Kyler Hobgood (Courtney) of Calvert City, Alec Mader of Weatherford and Chloe Hobgood of Calvert City, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Brayden Zain and Charlie Mae Hobgood; his sister-in-law Diane Siegel (Norman) of Vero Beach, FL; his brothers, Rick Lahndorff (Susan) of Springfield, Greg Lahndorff of Paducah, Kentucky and Scott Lahdorff (Linda) of Paducah, Kentucky; and his brother-in-law Bill McCormick of Paducah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
