He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Albert, Mildred Elder, Dee and Shirley Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Claire Brown Elder; his parents, David Albert Elder and Brenda Jean Lawrence; his sister Treska Payne (Josh); his brother-in-law Evan Brown (Karen); his mother-in-law Barbara Brown; and his nieces and nephews, Dalton Payne, Karlee Payne, Eli Brown and Abby Brown. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his racing family.
