He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Roberts; his parents, Thomas T. Roberts and Verna Roberts (Brooks); his grandchildren, Michael Dane Devine and Michelle Amberly Holton; and his sisters, Ernestine Ramage and Jacqueline Wilkes.

He is survived by: his children, William Roberts (Judy) of Paducah, Lucinda Smith of Paducah, Vicky Holton (Michael) of Murray and Sally Batusic (Steve) of Paducah; his grandchildren, Christie Devine, Tory Daughrity, Drew Holton, Brandon Doom, Nicole Shelby and Alison Mangrum; and his great grandchildren, Dana Poole, Courtney Kincaid, Kelsey Shultz, Alyssa Daughrity, Hatcher Holton, Brayden Doom, Brooklyn Onan and River Onan. He is also survived by 8 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
