With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles A. Cooper of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty J. Cooper; his son Michael Cooper; his parents, Charles Roy Cooper and Sarah Dallice Cooper; his brother Jimmy Cooper; and his stepchildren, Larry Hughes, Randy Hughes, Marilyn Reed and Nancy Gross.
He is survived by: his wife Mahaska Hughes Cooper (Ivy) of Paducah; his children, Jerry Cooper (Betty) of Hickory, KY and Beverly Evans (Paul) of Paducah; his stepchildren, Brenda Allcock (Ricky) of Paducah, Pam Russell (Bud) of Wickliffe, Rick Hughes (Crysta) of Paducah and Bobby Hughes (Tina) of Calvert City; his sisters, Jan Yancey of Paducah and Norma Lou Gill of Ballard County; his granddaughters, Christina Walker, Shelly Gardner, Heather Evans and Jessica Willis; and his great grandchildren, Zach Walker, Natalie Gardner, Kiley Walker and Trever Howle. He is also survived by several step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
