He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Campbell and Iva Dishman Campbell; and his brothers, Ralph Campbell and James Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Campbell of Paducah; his stepdaughters, Mindy Lou Wylie of Pennsylvania, Melinda Lee Wylie of Louisville, KY and Krista Rhea Wylie of Grand Rivers, KY; his sister-in-law Sarah Campbell; and his nephews, Mark Campbell and Kevin Campbell. He is also survived by his four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
