It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Glisson of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bishop Glisson and Vera Fulcher Glisson; and his siblings, Martha Sue Wallace, Ruby McGee, Thomas Wayne Glisson, Jimmy Lewis Riley and James Ollie Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Tapp Glisson; his children, Monica Adams of Paducah and Manuel Glisson (Brooklyne) of Eddyville; his stepdaughters, Missie Walker of Boaz and Melodie Carrico (Richie) of Paducah; his siblings, Bettie Matheny (Harry) of West Paducah, Patricia Greenup (Joe) of Ledbetter and Roy Glisson, Sr. (Polly) of West Paducah; his grandchildren, MacKenzie O'Connell (Payton), Blake Smith, Gavin Smith (Taylor), Talon Watson, Joseph Bergman, Austin Draffen, Jacey Carter (Ward), Peyton Walker, Daniel Carrico (Shamber) and Michael Carrico (Kortney); and his great grandchildren, Lilah O'Connell, Kase O'Connell, Kolson O'Connell, Kallum O'Connell, Logan Carrico and Lucas Carrico. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
