Charles left this world on October 10, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Charles may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Starnes and Eddis Mae Moak Starnes; and his siblings, Minnie Mae Howle and James Harold Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Starnes of Ledbetter; and his children, Sabrina Tucker (Larry) of Benton and Charles Starnes Jr. of Ledbetter. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (6965 Old US Hwy 45 S, Paducah, KY 42003).
