He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Holt and Otye Brady Holt; and his siblings, Frank David Kimball, Douglas Lee Holt, Nick Holt, Morris Holt (Magic Slim), Jean Holt and Lucinda Holt Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Santana Reed; his grandchildren, Astaria Ramsey and Mario Ramsey; and his brothers, Charles Holt of Paducah and James Holt of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by three aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
