He is survived by: his mother June Nelson (Hal) of Symsonia; his significant other Sharon Prater of Paducah; his children, Christopher James Gilbert of Paducah and Kirsten Marie Gilbert of Lone Oak; and his stepdaughters, Kathryn Lawrence of Paducah and Allison Lawrence of Sparta, IL..
