He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gaines of Paducah, KY; his son Brent Gaines (Jennifer) of St. Louis, MO; his brothers, Thomas "Tommy" Gaines of Murray, KY and Lanny Gaines (Aleta Faye) of Smithland, KY; and his grandchildren, Isabella Christine Gaines, Abigail Gaines and Will Gaines.
