He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert (Sandra Ferguson) and David. He is survived by: his wife Arlyn "Cookie" Higdon; his sons, Jeremy Scott Hilton (Melinda) of New York and Aaron Darnell (Karen) of Virginia; and his brother Robert Higdon (Cathy) of Elgin, Illinois.. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
