He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Brotherton (Bill); his wife Terry Fordemwalt; his father Bill; and his granddaughter Dorothy Thomae Brotherton. He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Dana) of Lee's Summit, MO, Kevin (Shannon) of Eddyville, KY, Rusty (Shannon) of Lee's Summit, MO and Andy (Julie) of Pleasant Hill, MO.; his grandchildren, Gabby Caton (Chris), Hannah Melton (Jonah), Hayden Brotherton, Kayla Cresswell (Nick), Alex Brotherton, Samuel Brotherton, Dylan Brotherton, Alexis Brotherton, Hallie Brotherton, Joanna Brotherton, Hudson Brotherton and Joseph Brotherton; his great grandchildren, Cairo, Asher, Cora Caton, Jace and Emersyn Melton; and his stepsons, John, Jeremy and Nick Fordemwalt.
