It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David R. Reed Jr. of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on July 3, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Roscoe Reed, Sr. and Virginia May Reed (Hank); and his brother Oscar Hank Reed. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Wurth Reed; his children, Karen Reed Alpers (John) of Paducah and J. Boone Reed (Ragan); his stepdaughter Lisa Edwards (Chase) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Ely Mazmanian and David Reed, III.
