We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2025, at the age of 72, Deborah Jo Higdon of Paducah, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Deborah's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Raymond Godsey and Rena Bell Jones Godsey. She is survived by: her husband James Bernard "Bernie" Higdon; and her cousin Marlene Neihoff of Metropolis. She is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and close friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church (116 S 6th St, Paducah, KY 42001). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
