She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Raymond Godsey and Rena Bell Jones Godsey. She is survived by: her husband James Bernard "Bernie" Higdon; and her cousin Marlene Neihoff of Metropolis. She is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and close friends and neighbors.
