With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dee Alexander Austin of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dee Alexander may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dee Alexander touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Smith and Virginia Smith; and her brothers, Wallace "Walley" Gregory Smith, Billy Jean Smith and Walter Bruce Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Austin; her children, Steven Wayne McNichols, Terry Lynn McNichols and Stacy Renee Austin Harman; and her sisters, Janice Ann Smith Jackson and Nancy Lee Smith Stewart.
