He was predeceased by: his wife Pam Farmer; his parents, Elnora and James; and his siblings, Brenda and Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his children, Donald "Lil Duck" Farmer Jr. of Marshall County and Misty Coble (Seth) of Marshall County; his siblings, Darrel Willis of Paducah, Jack Farmer of Paducah, Anthony Farmer of Marshall County, Darlene Diehl of Livingston County and Sharon Wimberley of Paducah; and his grandchildren, Kelsy Hawk (Tyler) of Kevil, Chase Matteson of Marshall County, Braden Coble of Marshall County and Lilly Coble. He is also survived by many cousins, neices, nephews, and friends.
