He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Paulette Lamm Wilson; his daughters, Maryann Cain of Melber and Nancy Rasche (Michael) of Paducah; his grandchildren, Jay Cain, Clayton Cain (Samantha), Brooke Cain (Max Laughlin), Meredith Rasche, Caroline Rasche, Gantry Rasche, Gatlin Rasche and Hayden Rasche; his great grandchildren, Maisyn Cain and Wilson Cain; his brother Andrew Wilson; his nephews, Eric Wilson and Adam Wilson; his mother Eva Mae Clark Wilson; and his brother Roger Dale Wilson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lone Oak Church of Christ (2960 Lone Oak Rd, Paducah, KY 42001). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
