He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvil Woodman Hale and Dollye Ellen Burchett Hale; and his siblings, JoAnn, Rachel, Dana, Darrell, Walter, Timmy and Tommie Jean Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Waldron Hale; his daughters, Mellony Hale of Paducah, Kentucky, Tracy Jenkins (Clay) of Paducah, Kentucky and Jackie Green of Paducah, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Phillip Nethery (Karen) of Brandon, Mississippi and Christina Coburn of Paducah, Kentucky; his sisters, Carolyn Boyer of Mattoon and Laverne Jessee of Columbia, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Tara, Sarah, Bart, Molly and Jamie; his stepgrandchildren, Laken, Jerod and Abigail; his great grandchildren, Abby, Lily, Anakin, Oliver, Rowen, Sylvia, Brenn and Baby Boy; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Braxton and Betty Butler; and his son David Hale. He is also survived by mother of his four children and several nieces and nephews.
