He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Mullen Sr. and Miami Marshall Mullen; his wife Nonnie Jean Davenport Mullen; and his children, Mark Mullen and Carole Jean Mullen Hahn.
He is survived by: his son Daryle Dean Mullen of Louisville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Austin Mullen, Caitlin Bowman (Tim) and Jeremy Felker; his great grandchildren, Hayden Bowman, Wilson Bowman, Isaiah Bowman, RaeLynn Felker and Claire Felker; his siblings, Shirley June Watson and Larry Mullen (Jeannie); his son-in-law Ted Hahn; his sister-in-law Velva Mullen of Paducah; and his siblings, Daryle, Anna Pinnegar, James Paul Mullen, Daniel "Kayo" Mullen, Charles Mullen and David Mullen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
