It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Dorsey of Paducah, Kentucky, born in Montrose, Colorado, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dorsey and Ellen Catherine Riehle Dorsey; his wife Claudia Louise Smith Dorsey; and his siblings, Mable Metz, Pearazetta Dorsey, Elmer Dorsey, Dale Dorsey and Donald Dorsey.
He is survived by: his children, Danae Permuy of Paducah, KY, William Joseph Dorsey (Beth) and Dale Martin Dorsey (Michele) of Granger, IN; and his grandchildren, Chad Dorsey (Elizabeth), Dan Dorsey (Gretchen), Dominec Destfanio, Sarah Schwager (Adam) and Michael Dorsey (Veronica). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
