She was predeceased by: her husband Artell Cornwell; her parents, Elbert Cole and Etta Lee Cole (McCoy); her sons, Ronald Cornwell and Michael Cornwell; and her stepdaughter Brenda Amos.

She is survived by: her stepdaughter Patricia Dickerson of Texas; her friend Phyllis Gunther of Paducah; her grandchildren, Chad Cornwell (Kirby) of Paducah and Jennifer Thompson (Kevin) of West Lafette, LA; and her stepgranddaughter Kris Taylor (Bob) of Flower Moond, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
