It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Mae Alvey of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lois Robinson; her stepdaughter Kathie Alvey; her brother Charles Ballard; her grandson Daniel Eugene Williams; and her son-in-law Michael Paisley.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Alvey; her children, John L. Williams, Gene Thomas Boswell and Brenda Paisley; her stepchildren, Karla Avery, Amanda Jo Glenn and Chip Wilbourn Leon Jr.; her grandchildren, Nanette Williams, Nickki Williams, Crystal Jennings (Tony) and Amanda Elrod (Zach); and her great grandchildren, Addison Martin, Riley Martin, Calista Jennings, Nevaeh Jennings, Aniyah Jennings and Anola Jennings.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Smithland Second Baptist Church Building Fund at P.O. Box 393 Smithland, KY 42081 or flowers may be sent to Lindsey Funeral Home, no later than Monday June 23, 2025 , to be forwarded to the family.
