It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Campbell of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Roy T. Wood; her husband Calvin Larue Campbell; and her siblings, Frances Turner, Hazel L. Long, Rebecca Wood, Kathryn Griffin, Harvey Wood, William "Dink" Wood, Fred Wood and Roy Wood, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Gail McAlister (Larry) of Winston-Salem, Sharon Heming (Peter) of Raleigh, Donna Hickey (Larry) of Paducah, Kentucky and Jeffrey Campbell (Barbara) of St. Johns, Florida; and her grandchildren, Abby McAlister Willems (Daniel) of Carrboro, Graham McAlister (Hannah) of San Francisco, Matthew Campbell of St. Johns, Andrew Campbell (Lauren) of Urbana, Tyler Heming (Jara) of Leeds, Erin Heming (Kaitlin) of Tempe and Katie Heming-Chapman (Jonathan) of Guelph. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
