She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman C. Becker and Alberta Louise Kalfoten Becker; her husband Howard "Butch" Whitaker; and her sister Sharon Gail Lane. She is survived by: her daughters, Shari Denise Harper of Paducah and Diane Michelle Powell (Harold) of Paducah; her siblings, Nancy Breedlove of Basket, Donna A. Hill of Paducah and Terry Wayne Becker of Paducah; her grandchildren, Joey Harper (Miranda), Arron Powell (Audrey) and Brittany Powell; and her great grandchildren, Mariah Harper, Sophie Harper, Serenity Powell, Jayctin Robertson and Paisley Robertson.
