The memory of Fayhona Overby of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie Franklin Overby; her parents, Raymond Paris and Myrtie Stubbs Paris; and her siblings, Eula Belle Woodring (Coy) and Robert Paris (Joy).
She is survived by: her children, Brelinda Kern (Tony) of O'Fallon, Tamara Heater of Granite City, Debra Travelstead (Bruce) of Carbondale, Illinois and Frank Overby (Teresa) of Benton; and her grandchildren, Franklin James Overby, Brooks Overby (Catie), Michelle Rhea (David), Mitchell Overby, Nathan Kern (Christine), Evan Kern (Angie), Matthew Frizzell (Meghan), Whitney Weisenberger (Brandon), Stuart Heather and Ryan Heater. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah (120 Memorial Dr, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
