She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Paul and Nora McAlpin Paul; her daughter Carolyn McGary; her sister Jo Paul Strong; and her former husband H. G. McGary, Jr..

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Daniel McGary of Paducah, Eva Moore Bergman (Dan) of Colorado, Amanda Moore Curry (Michael) of Mayfield and Mary Coleman of Indianapolis, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Deklyn McGary, Hailee Forrest, Grady Forrest and David Forrest; and her close friend Duke.
