He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard V. Ottway and Katherine "Kitty" M. Palmer Ottway; his siblings, Leonard L. Ottway, Ivor J. Ottway and Carol A. Ottway; his daughter Sherri L. Ottway; and his niece Gale A. Grisham.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill M Peppers of Paducah, Susie K Pruitt (Chad) of Lexington, KY and Laurie S Apple (Tom) of Paducah; and his grandchildren, Tad A Payne of Paducah, KY, Robert B Copeland of Paucah, Alex Ligon of Paducah, KY, Jordin M Durard of Paducah, KY, Kristen McDaniel of Paducah, KY, Madison L Wayt of Paducah, KY, Susanna B Copeland of Paducah, KY, Rayne K Copeland of Paducah, KY and Lauren E Ligon of Paducah, KY. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
