With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Daniels Ames of Paducah, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 98. Though Helen Daniels has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Daniels and Grace Meminger Daniels; and her husband Edward Wesley Ames. She is survived by: her daughters, Teale Louise Fackler (David) of Paducah and Alise Anne Ames of Paducah; and her grandsons, Dylan Tucker, Joshua David Fackler (Stefanie), Jonathan Ames Fackler (Jenny) and Dr. Philip Wesley Fackler (Amanda). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the The Greenhouse of Paducah (2839 N Friendship Rd, Paducah, KY 42003). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
