He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen Jean Dixon Doom; his wife Ina Gregory Doom; and his parents, Fird Doom and Vera Evans Doom. He is survived by: his daughter Darlene Doom Howard (Kevin) of Paducah; his grandsons, Derick Carter (Sabrina) of Clarksville, TN and Justin Carter (Qilli) of Newcastle, WA; his great grandchildren, Tanner Carter, Kaitlyn Carter, Ella Carter and Ethan Carter; and his siblings, Preston Doom, Lannie Doom, Allen Doom, Deana Smith, Dorothy Elbert, Ruth Massey, Glenna Joiner, Helen Pendergast, Thomas "Buster" Doom and Ivan Doom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
