She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Dennis and Gladys Dennis; her former life partner David Oneal Hightower; her husband Terry Earl Ransom; and her sister Patsy Marshall.
She is survived by : her son Brian Hightower of Cadiz; her sisters, Billie Hammett (Tommy) of Wickliffe and Phyllis Stephens (Lee) of Paducah; and her granddaughters, Megan Hightower and Abigail Hightower.
