With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D. Young (Paducah, Kentucky), who passed away on January 24, 2020 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. Dawson and Mary Erma Henderson Young; and his stepfather Joseph Daniel Young. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Gant of Columbus, OH, Mary Mack of Paducah, KY, Cathy Hall of Clarksville, TN and James Young Jr. of Minneapolis, MN; his brother Joseph Richard Young of Paducah; and his stepsiblings, Sherry Clark of Paducah and David Wolfe of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty two-great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
