He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Boggs of Paducah; his children, James Robert "Bob" Boggs of Akron, OH, Sheila Hawkins (Carl) of Paducah and Karen Hamburg (Chuck) of Odin, IL; his siblings, Danny Boggs (Shirley) of Oak Hill, OH, Linda Swan of Oak Hill, OH and Hazel Reynolds of Olive Hill, KY; and his grandchildren, James Hawkins, Joshua Hawkins, Sarah Boggs, Rebecca Farmer, Jacob Boggs and Jordon Moghadam. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
