He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hack and Geneva Butler Hack; his sister Diane Canter; his half-sisters, Flora Mae Morris, Pauline Harper and Annabelle Taldo; and his brothers, Kerry Hack, Mikey Hack, Bobby Hack and Johnny Hack.

He is survived by: his daughter Tonya Thompson (Chris) of Paducah; his grandchildren, Madison Paige Pevahouse (Michael) of Paducah and Gavin Jay Holshouser of Lexington, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Margot and Gellar Pevahouse; his stepgrandchildren, Kaylee Gaia and Dylan Thompson; his partner's children, Addi and Dylan Caudle of Union City, Tennessee; and his sister Sharon Dunlap. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
