He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Franklin Scott and Reba Oda Johnson Scott; and his siblings, Elizabeth Connor, Martha Jean Floyd, Paul Scott (Buddy) and Harry Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Walker Scott; his sons, Philip Scott (Kimberly Wajer-Scott) of Evansville and Steve Scott of La Vergne, Tennessee; and his grandson Duncan Leo Scott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
