It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wayne Blackman of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Buford and Mamie Pearl Blackman; his daughter Brenda Krug; and his brothers, Stanley Blackman and Bill Blackman.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Blackman; and his children, Dwain Blackman and Lori Gratz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lindsey Funeral Home (226 N 4th St, Paducah, KY 42001). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Lone Oak First Baptist Church Building Fund.
