He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Kaufman McHughes Wilson; his grandchildren, Brittney McHughes of Clarksville, Tennessee and Max Sturm; Pete, Kerie Sturm of Paducah and Belinda Turner of Bardwell, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
