She was predeceased by: her father Dennis Clay; her mother-in-law Elizabeth Leasor; and her sister-in-law Janice Foglesong (Atlas). She is survived by: her mother Barbara Clay of Golconda, IL; her husband Joseph Denton; her son Jesse of West Paducah, KY; her siblings, Rev. Thomas Clay (Marla) of Tuscumbia, AL and Dr. Michael Clay of Knoxville, TN; her siblings-in-law, James Denton (Nancy), Jesse Ray Denton and Judy Leasor; her sister Tracy Jones (Billy); her siblings' children, Emily Clay Franks (Ethan), Aubrey Clay, Callie Clay, Carlie Clay, Chloe Clay, Collin Clay, Cole Clay, Emma Jane Clay and Beth Timmons (Thomas); her great-nieces, Mila Grace Clay, Everly Sue Wright, Lakyn Timmons and Eryka Timmons (Nathan Tubbs); her great-nephew Zack Timmons (Ashley); Ashton Hester, Jackson Tubbs, Jameson Tubbs and Adley Hester.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lindsey Funeral Home (226 N 4th St, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Metropolis, IL where she had been a member for many years or St. Jude's in Memphis, TN.
