He was predeceased by : his wife Joyce Queen Brown; his parents, James D. Brown and Melissie Jane Garnett Brown; his daughter Julia A. Lawson; and his brother Floyd W. Brown. He is survived by : his sons Jerry D. Brown and Walter Brown , his daughter Joy J Brown, his step-son Harland C. Lester; and his brothers, W. D. Brown, Franklin D. Brown and Charles H. Brown. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one step grandchild.
