She was predeceased by: her husband Delbert Gipson; her daughters, Rita Browning and Debbie Gipson; her grandson Kristopher Browning; and her parents, James Claude and Myrtle Lena Powell (Gamble).
She is survived by: her children, Alan Gipson (Joseph Johnson) of Orlando, FL and Karen Dowell (Bobby) of Paducah; and her grandson Garrett Dowell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
