It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John L. Burnett of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John L. Burnett to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest L. "Pelkie" Burnett and Mary Margareitte Burnett (Rose); his wives, Wanda Wilkins Burnett and Mary "Cecilia" Fetters-Burnett; his sisters, Rosemary Burnett Helm, Judy K. Burnett Murley and Jo Ellen Burnett Newberry; and his nephew Chad B. Newberry.

He is survived by: his daughter Kristi Burnett; and his sister Linda Burnett Slone (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Memorials may be made in John's name to Bardwell Baptist Church, 323 US 51, Bardwell, Kentucky 42023 or Alzheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
