He was predeceased by: his wife Denise Anne Fields; his parents, John Resser and Helen Resser; and his sisters, Louise Borruso and Barbara Ryan.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Elaine Strawser (Todd) of Strongsville, OH, Julianne Ryckeley (Kenneth) of Centennial, CO, Allison Marie Pryor (Josh) of Lewisville, TX, Mark Joseph Resser (Katherine) of Bellefontaine, OH, Dr. John Randall Resser (Trina) of Paducah, KY and Matthew Charles Resser (Lisha) of Plano, TX. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
