He was predeceased by: his mother Lolita Margaret Vogt; his daughter Megan Mitchell; and his brothers, James King and Donald King. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Vogt; his children, Weston Vogt of Paducah, Aaron Kimbler of Kansas, Chloe Meeks of Paducah, Brooklyn Meeks of Princeton, Amber Kimbler of Paducah, Steph Etheridge of Paducah, Brittany Fraliex of Princeton, Courtney Hameed of Paducah and Natasha Mitchell of Henderson; and his siblings, David Vogt, Melinda Hicks and Maggie Held of Paducah. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home (2410 Jackson St, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at the Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery (4149 Old Mayfield Rd, Paducah, KY 42003).
